Thank you Sina for this quote!
What lies within us?
Not mind selling us words, ideas, future happiness.
What is within?
I am.
Not some mental cleverness.
Every object I am aware of can bring me back to myself.
As “me” I live in a bubble of words, ideas, concepts.
What lies within is beyond words.
Always whole, pristine, complete.
No names for the nameless.
Not mysterious,
only hidden in plain sight.
How to point to the source of attention?
“Truth is simple, the seeker is complex.”
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
“Life is more than paying bills.”
“Ask and ye shall receive.”
Words are only pointers.
Sorry for the quotes…
“When we can’t think for ourselves, we can always quote” ❤️
How to point to the source of attention, right here and now?!
You say: I am reading these words.
The words are objects in the mind;
your body, your eyes are objects in the mind.
Conceptually the eyes see and the brain processes,
but experientially what is the source of your attention?
Experientially, undistracted by mental commentary.
