… or interest in conflict?
Me or I AM?
How many “me”s are there?
“I have told you these things,
so that in me you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart!
I have overcome the world.”
Overcoming the world?
Seeing that the “me”,
the one I believed myself to be,
is itself an object, an appearance
I am aware of as Awareness.
“You study the Scriptures diligently
because you think that in them
you have eternal life.
These are the very Scriptures
that testify about me,
yet you refuse to come to me
to have life.”
Thinking is an important tool,
but being misunderstood
creates suffering,
lack and limitations.
“So don’t be afraid, little flock.
For it gives your Father great happiness
to give you the Kingdom.”
It can be scary to relax
our lifelong deeply ingrained belief
of being a separate personal doer,
attached to outcomes.
“My Kingdom is not of this world.”
So precious to see that happiness is simply peace.
Our natural happiness is not contained
in what appears, comes and goes.
“… the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Kingdom, as clarity, love, beauty.
The placeless place of fulfillment,
security and adequate sufficiency.
All words as concessions ❤️
